Welcome to countryside bliss – The Cotswolds have been the setting of iconic locations such as Downton, in Downton Abbey, and now, it is the backdrop to your perfect holiday house staycation. Pretty little chocolate box towns, and rolling Oxfordshire hills surround our three converted barns, Roebuck’s Rose, The Lock Keepers Snipe and The Owl’s Barn. Whether you’re wandering along The Thames Path National Trail, which runs through the Chimney Meadows nature reserve or keeping an eye out for birds and wildlife that’ll turn up on your doorstep, there’s no need to venture far.

Sneak Peak – Within The Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve there are bird hides, specifically for catching a glimpse of the many wading birds that call the reserve home. See if you can spot all twelve of the resident birds such as the Pintail, the Sedge warbler and the more illusive Yellowhammer. The Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve is an ancient landscape developed over many hundreds of years and is an important area for wildlife. The birds and animals are so integral to the area that we had to name two of our barns, after the Snipe and the Barn Owl. Our perfectly converted barns are within The Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve along with 13 acres of ample agriculture.

The White Hart at Fyfield is a fantastic family run business with a passion for modern British dining. A strong local favourite, The White Hart has an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients with the addition of a wood fired pizza oven. With fantastic options for all the family, we love their Pumpkin and cep lasagne for a veggie treat.
VisitPerfect for a relaxed dining experience, or a indulgent take away, The Snooty Mehmaan has a selection of dishes for every mood, even offering a buffet style Sunday brunch, complete with everything from pancakes to poppadom.
VisitThe moment you enter The Lamb Inn in Crawley you are welcomed by a cosy 18th Century country pub with a warm atmosphere and an exquisite menu. Out the back there is a suntrap beer garden, ideal for a long summer's afternoon lunch over a bottle of wine.
VisitThe Double Red Duke Pub is a recently refurbished coaching inn that is now a popular country restaurant renowned for its locally sourced menu and traditional food. Be sure to make a booking before you arrive as this is an absolute hit with locals!
VisitWithin the deep West Oxfordshire countryside near Faringdon is The Trout at Tadpole Bridge. Offering the best of British country pub food, The Trout is surrounded by fields with the River Thames flowing by, the traditional pub is the perfect place to relax in classic Cotswold style.
