The Barns at Chimney Farm Barns are a pair of spacious interior designed barns within a Nature Reserve in the Costwolds. Bathed in sunshine from the south facing rooms with beautiful courtyard gardens and lots of space to run and play these barns are ideal for extended family and friends. With two Quince outdoor copper baths to enjoy and the off beaten track position makes these the perfect getaway.
The barns are single storey and face into the sunny walled courtyards, cleverly designed by landscape gardener Posy Gentles, to give you dining and soft seating areas. Inspired by the beautiful rural setting, she has mixed herbs with grasses and climbing roses with trees to offer a magical sunny setting. To the rear of each barn are grass areas, more seating and BBQ’s, ideal for the children to play and for you to watch the sun go down across the surrounding water meadows. You may even spy our resident barn owl who swoops around the barns at sunrise and sunset. You are welcome to explore the wider grounds where you will find swings, picnic benches and even a fire pit so don’t forget your marshmallows. Not to mention our stunning outside copper tubs in their own bathhouse with hot and cold water and an outdoor heater – all just waiting for you to arrive in your flipflops and bubble bath and enjoy a soak under the stars.
Both the barns have a lovely big boot room and gated grounds making it dog friendly, while the dining area and kitchen mingle together to create an easy entertaining space. If you want to book a private chef, let us know and we will give you some suggestions.
There is parking for maximum of 11 cars and a shared electric car charger. The house has fast fibre broadband of up to 200mbs which makes it ideal as a place to work as well as relax.
