With the kids off and the weather warming up why not get out and about over May half term and enjoy all that the Cotswolds have to offer

There is always a buzz about May Half term with the longer days, gardens in full flower, and lots of events to enjoy for you and your family throughout the Cotswolds.  Whether you are thinking of a day trip or a short break there is something for everyone this May half term.

 

  1. South Cerney Street Fair and Duck Race Monday 27th May – a weekend event culminating in the Duck Race with prizes, obstacles for the ducks to navigate, street food, trade fairs and all to raise money for local charities

 

  1. Gruffalo Party Trail at Westonbirt Arboretum interactive family trail to celebrate Gruffalos 25th birthday with part themed games and activities and fun facts about life in the forest.

 

  1. For a brewery tour look no further than Hook Norton Brewery with regular 2 hour tours of the brewery and beer tasting to complete the trip.

 

  1. Cherwell Boathouse Punting is an ideal way of seeing Oxford, the River Thames passes great parks, pubs, and picnic spots to enjoy all the way along the river or just sit on the river bank and enjoy the view

 

  1. The Cotswolds Sculpture Park with over 170 sculptures to enjoy in lovely grounds close to Cotswolds Water Park.
